Rating: Summary: A "Must-Have" Review: This book is put out by Alias-Wavefront and it's used as a textbook in the Digital Animation classroom. The tutorials demonstrate the basic concepts and functions of Maya. The pitfall we had in class was that people mis-read the instructions because they lost their place on the page. Also the 3 version had alot of glitches. Sometimes the authors forget they are talking to someone who is just learning Maya instead of someone who knows what they're doing and they write something that the reader may not understand. Especially when things get complicated. For example when you have to "set driven key", it gets hairy. But, just re-read it over and over again until you understand it. You'll pick it up.
