Rating: Summary: Cisco Network Design Handbook, design concepts at its best! Review: After reading the Cisco Network Design Handbook, I was amazed at the amount of knowledge that I gained. I was able to easily plan, implement, and maintain global customer networks in a direct and organized fashion. Also I was able to solve network design issues that my engineering team and I were faced with, with quick and precise methods that I learned from this great authored book ! This book is must, for those in today's high paced networking enviroment.
Rating: Summary: Ditto on the CCDA recommendation ... Review: Although a new CCDA exam (640-861) is now appearing, and the Cisco prodcut information is somewhat dated for the older CCDA exam (640-441), the foundations are great for both CCDA and eventual CCDP. I read this a year before taking up the CCNA and CCDA exams, and ended up referencing _back_ to it every time reading another book raised some questions.All-in-all, it's a great "base reference" for anything studying for Cisco exams.

Rating: Summary: A collection must Review: First off if your buying this book chances are you understand a tad bit more about networking than the masses. This book is in fact what Amazon claims it to be "A great refference" when your in search of a quick answer your not going to spend a year and a half thumbing through these pages, instead you'll have answered the questioned and moved on. If there is one comment that I wish would others intrested in this item to know it would have to how organized and easy to read this book is.

Rating: Summary: Cisco Network Design Handbook, design concepts at its best! Review: Not only have I read every word of this book at least twice but I was also on the production of this book serving as a technical reviewer for Michael. This book is one of the best cisco design books I have read. I highly recommend it for anyone wishing to work toward the CCDA or any network administrator or contractor that will be implmenting a new or revising an existing network. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MICHAEL!
