Summary: A good way to start
Review: First of all, I must admit this book is really outdated. It covers Notes R3.X and some newer features/capabilities of Notes are not mentioned. In addition, I found numerous mistakes in function declarations end examples code.

However, given the serious lack or Notes API resources, this book is a good place to start. It gives you an idea of how to use Notes API and what you can achieve with it. The book is well organized and it is easy to find what you're looking for.
