Summary: Prof gives thumbs up on book
Review: I found this a perfect book for my Java students. The author covers just what my rookie class needs to get up and running with Java. It is easy reading. The author explains critical topics without becoming overly technical so not to loose the student. And the self testing exams give my students a challenge, but afterwards they can pass my exams.

Summary: Use it to brush up for job interview - good stuff
Review: I needed to brush up on my Java programming skills for a job interview. Its rare to even find someone hiring a programmer these days, so I didn't want to blow it. Great book. Everything I was asked in the technical interview was covered in the book.

Summary: Good book
Review: My CS professor suggested this book as a supplement to our textbook because the textbook is difficult to understand. She was right, this book explains things much better than our textbook. Now I'm a little ahead of the class because of the examples in this book.

You will get much success of java program by following this book's example. The most attractive of this book is that you may spot what you want very easily in the book. It is because the size of the book is not too thick, it told not much and not less for your java application. And the information of the book is very straightforward to the point that you are seeking for. Although this book didn't have all the information about java, it's knowledge is enough for you too carry on your java coding.
