Summary: Yikes! Are there any real engineers out there?
Review: Chandrakasan is unfortunately a member of the large group of academics who make a career out of publishing articles and books, despite not understanding much of their subject matter. This book's contents are either trivial (the benefits of voltage scaling and minimization of switched capacitance), incorrect, or have been well known and applied for years (for example, by Swiss CMOS watch designers). As a working engineer in the field, I find this book practically offensive.
