Rating: Summary: This book shows the Speedy Way to Upgrade to Office XP Review: Being a part of an educational institute, I recommended this book for our students. I found this to be a very comprehensive reference book, which has been nicely organized so that even if one doesnt want to read it cover to cover, they can still access the exact information that they need in a speedy way. The books has self explanatory pictures and diagrams making it interesting and easy to follow. Teh Q&A's at the end of the chapters are also good from the self assesment point of view as well as for the instructors reference. I cant find anything negative to say about this book except for one small thing: this book is ideally suited for users already familiar with the previous office suite. However, novices may find the content of this book a little more than can be covered in 24 hours. Everything else, the print, the organization and the content is excellent.
Rating: Summary: I'm so tired of over-written tomes... THIS is perfect Review: Just the right length. One hour a day for 3 or so weeks and I've mastered the ins and outs of Office XP.I read Perry's humor between the lines. He's not only smart, he is witty. If you've used Office in the past and want to learn the most VALUABLE skills, you need this book.
