Review: Hamilton's work is lacking in precise examples for the commands on Stata 5.0 His effort does give the reader helpful illustrations, but is still lacking in an overall simplification of the statistical software.

Review: I found this book to be an excellent resource when I first began learning how to use STATA. It doesn't teach you everything you need to know, but will give you enough of the basics to get you started. I recommend it to anyone who is starting out!
