Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Worth the price and the time...
Review: I agree pretty much with the previous reviewer. The book didn't measure up to what it was I expected but I don't regret reading it. It was enjoyable and insightful. If I had reviewed this book for the author before publication I would have recommended less use of fictional characters (from movies and literature) as a source of reference to emotional issues.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Fell short
Review: When I picked up this book I expected a snappy, general and interesting survey of the area of emotion that is customary of the books in this series. Instead, what emerged was the author trying to push his own view of the matter-- one inspired by evolutionary psychology. I learnt more about evolutionary psychology than emotion from my reading. Nonetheless, despite its shortcomings I do not regret buying this book as it does contain much that is interesting and the references that it provides are useful.

(I would have given this book 3.5 stars if I had the option)
