Summary: For Beginners
Review: I read this book. It is not clear how to make a program because one page explains what to do but the next page (back) explains more about it. I rather to use these pages in one so that I would able to follow it. There are some examples of code sources and it is too many spaces in the sources. Another example of the source: a very few lines (start) at the bottom of the first page and the second page are displayed of the source (end). We would have missed first few lines at the beginning (or even at end of the line). There is another book that I found is: "Programming in ANSI C" by Stephen G. Kochan (new version). I really like it. This book is for IBM programmers but I am going to use this "Programming in ANSI C" book for Macintosh. (I am beginner.) Good luck.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good for beginners
Review: I thought that this book was helpful. I am just starting out with C and this was my first book. It gives great sample programs and goes through the source code step by step. Great for beginners. If you already know some basics of C than I wouldn't suggest it. But if you are just starting out, buy it.
