Summary: Not a good book
Review: A lot of repetition. This book is for beginners. If you know what a scriptlet is then save your money. This book is disappointing

Review: In my copy of this book and all the other copies I've seen, the index has the wrong page numbers, making the book virtually useless as a reference. Looks like a lapse in Wrox quality control.

Summary: Check the index before you buy.
Review: Perhaps this is the only book published which is exclusively meant for Scriptlets. Even though server scriptlets and Remote scripting are explained, but a little stress (a chapter for each topic) was given. But client scriptlets (DHTML Scriptlets) are explained in detail. Author Dino Esposito tried to explain a lot about the topic in a comprehensive mode, ofcourse the name itself suggests it. Definately it is good book and recommended for beginners and intermediate programmers and a quick review for Advanced programmers.

Summary: Lucky for us its pretty good...
Review: This is a pretty good book...Good thing because its the only book I have found that covers scriptlets exclusively. My only complaint is that the book could have been shorter, but the author has a tendancy to be redundant. Other than that one minor complaint, good coverage and good examples. Mr. Esposito's writing style may not be my favorite, but he does definately know the material.
