Summary: Absolutly Pathetic
Review: Having just finished up a senior project using Visual Interdev and having this book as our guide proved to be the most difficult time of my life. Not only did many of the sample scripts not work, the coverage of the different uses of visual interdev was almost non-existent. The author writes the book as if Visual Interdev was the simplest development environment to use when it turns out to be a highly complex and tricky one. The author also seems to treat the development of web content as something that can be done with only the most minute understanding of the technologies involved and does little to try and provide detailed instructions on how to use them. I would not even recommend this book for beginners.

Review: I just followed the book page-by-page and created many useful pages and tools on our company's intranet! The author leads you through Interdev in a structured, but yet fun, manner! By far the best book I've read on Interdev and Active Server Pages.

Review: This book is definitely recommended for those that are just starting Visual InterDev and aren't sure where to go first. The book is fairly thin and has many graphics so you will get through this book pretty quick.I rate it a 9 simply because of the size. Many more examples could have been covered. Don't pass up this book though if you are looking for an introductory level book. The author is very clear and concise and the code samples work.
