Rating: 4 stars
Summary: IT Web Services
Review: If you are looking for a book that is more than just an explanation of acronyms, then this is the book for you. It not only explains the acronyms, but also gives you the background to understand how we got where we are with web services today.

The author then goes on to explain the benefits and pitfalls of adopting web services. He also suggests how your organization might adopt web services. He has really given this area some thought and it points out some things that will help you sell web services in your organization, if you are thinking of adopting the technology.

He includes a couple of interviews with leaders in web service. It is interesting to hear the perspectives of people on the cutting edge of the technology.

Combine all the above with the author's easy to read style, I can definitely recommend this book.
