Review: Given the complexities of todays electronic systems, macromodeling is a requirement. The PLL example given in the book illustrates how one can simulate a highly complex system using the industry standard spice simulator. Even with todays fast computers, transistor level simulation of these complex systems is not feasible. Macromodeling with spice gives you the tools to design models with the desired level of accuracy for the various blocks in your system.
