Summary: Very worthwhile
Review: This book is great both for people who want to create multimedia and have never tried before and for those people who have created multimedia products in an organic kind of way (that is it happened bit by bit rather than being a planned process...). The book gives a good background to technical issues, project planning and management issues and finishing off a product for release (among many other areas). It is not ideal for advanced product developers but great for people getting started or those that have already tried a bit but need some structure to what they are doing. I recommend it for my graduate students who have only attempted small multimedia projects in the past and are about to try a bigger project.
