Summary: Larry Chase is one man who knows his "stuff"
Review: Having been in the Internet industry since its dawning days in Silicon Alley (1994), I know who are the real people and who are pseudo cyberfolk.

Larry Chase is a solid business man with valuable offerings and services. His book is solid with great advice and top tips. His newsletter and consulting services round out to prove his seasoned sense and expertise.

I'd recommend this book over any others out there in a similar topic because it's well written, the author is very knowledgeable and respected on the topic and a great guy to boot!

Summary: Larry Chase is a strong voice
Review: I was amused by the comment that "Larry Chase is the Gomer Pyle" of Internet commerce. Actually, he's something like Jim Nabors, the man who played Pyle. Like Nabors, he has a strong voice, and stands for old-fashioned business virtues. Stating and re-stating what sounds obvious to some may seem like a wasted exercise, but it's not at all. In this book Larry Chase tells what works, and what hasn't, based on the real experience of real people. That can be very empowering. It was for me.

Summary: This book should be in every online marketers desk reference
Review: Larry Chase is the Sgt. Friday of Internet marketing. He has a no nonsense, no BS approach that sticks to the facts, unlike many of the fancy pants new arrivals who define old concepts with new terms and claim that equates to insights. Whether you're a Big Dog or a Puppy in the world of e-commerce, this book contains information that you will find useful. So grab a couple of pints of Guinness and read it.

Summary: Larry chase must have written all his own reviews.....
Review: Larry Chase's book is packed with practical guidance for developing a high-impact online presence. Larry is well-grounded in the nitty-gritty of what works and how to bring it off. I especially appreciate his section on email marketing (pages 224-34), one of my particular areas of interest -- and one that still raises questions for people new to Internet marketing. "Essential Business Tactics" is a great contribution to the Internet business library.

Summary: Very good, especially for business folks new to the net!
Review: Larry Chase's email newsletter, Web Digest for Marketers, has long been an essential read for both experts and newcomers to e-business. His new book does an excellent job of packaging his expertise on the complex and fast-chaning topic of selling and marketing online. As the author of a popular book on the subject myself -- Net Results: Web Marketing That Works -- I appreciate the clarity of Larry's insights about the Net's power for competitive research, customer data mining, promotions and more.

Summary: Implements strong marketing principles relevant to the net!
Review: No whiz-bang gen-x mindset stuff here. Useful easy to understand business and marketing practices that are current and relevant to the net. This book will give you a practical and educational edge. Definately useful, easy reading helps too.

Summary: Don't expect too much
Review: The book is useful, but very basic. If you are a true web nerd ;-), you probably already know most of the stuff in this book. It's still worth reading it, but don't expect too much.

Summary: This guy knows his stuff! And he can tell it!
Review: What an education can be found in this book! Larry Chase, already well known in the field, has written THE book to have on web strategies. Forget all those Johnny-come-lately web books out there, whether you're B2B or B2C, this book is 4U! I think it's incredibly clear, well-written and presents timeless strategies in an easy-to-use manner. Wow!
