Summary: It saved my life!
Review: After struggling with the manual that came with the Microsoft Front Page program, my ISP rep recommended the Dummie book. It showed me there is soooo much more to Front Page than any technician tried to fit into that miserable thing they call a manual. It saved my life!

Summary: A solid starting point
Review: While this book is in no way the definitive guide to using FrontPage '97, it is an informative and easy-to-understand review of the features available to first-time web authors and those new to Microsoft's powerful tool. The chapters flow in logical succession, but the reader can also easily jump around from one to another. As in other books in the "dummies" series, tip, warning and techical stuff icons provide greater understanding for the novice. The included CDROM has a few nice templates, but is not a major reason to buy this book. Once this book is read, the reader is ready to purchase Frontpage '97 Unleashed, a better book to keep beside your computer for continuous reference
