Review: I learned a great deal from this book even though I have been in the CATV business for over 10 years. It is well written, and contains plenty of depth for cable modem operation, as well as comparisons to DSL.

Summary: Good book but very focused on the US-market and technologies
Review: The only "problem", as far as I am concerned, was that this book is extremely focused on the US market and technologies. It should be more "open-minded" and picture better what is going on across the whole world in this field. Otherwise a well written and technologically sound book.
