Rating: Summary: Offers just what the title promises: a net-sex yellow pages Review: I found this book recommended on Coyote's site, and wondered just what it was that America's foremost prostitutes' orginization would recommend it. No, it's not a guidebook to finding hookers with WEB sites, but it is an excellently organized guide, in the same general format as others in the Complete Idiot's series, to WEB sites for vicarious thrills, sexually related products and accurate, sexually related information of all kinds by a psychologist and his wife, writing more as friendly fellow consumers than as professionals.I still don't know why Coyote recommends it, though I assume it's because they are in turn rcommended (quite appropriately) as a major source of information on the prostitutes' rights movement and proposals for legalizing or decriminalizing (NOT the same thing) prostitution, but separate chapters cover everything from sexual/medical information sources to sites prviding titilation and more for those interested in things "kinky" of various sorts and gender bendering etc. Minor disappointment to me is the systematic covering of all the "naughty bits" in all the WEB site photos that occur typically several to a page and illustrate most of the specific textual write-ups in this full length book, but this is minor: this volume is not pornography masquerading as a refrence work; it is a genuine reference to pornography plus very much more that's sexually oriented and to be found on the WEB. My major hope is that it will be frequently revised and reissued, as any reference to anything WEB-related must be in order to remain usefull, and that the authors plus others involved in producing and distributing it make much money from the project as they so richly (pun intended) diserve -- it's well worth its cost!
