Rating: Summary: A so so book with lots of pictures and no big words. Review: Once again I had to buy this book for a college course on New Media. I must say for starters that this book is way better than the book "Designing Interactive Digital Media; by Nicholas V. Iuppa, Nick Iuppa ". I have to say that the paper quality on this book is excellent and the usage of larger fonts makes it a good and easy read. So I highly recomend it for those who have an attention defecit disorder when it comes to learning techno mumbo jumbo. What I can't stand is all of the pictures and graphics thrown about the page wherever the heck it pleases the author. It gives the book the feel of a dyslexic Web page on crack. The author gives many examples on New Media applications and I'd say that he knows his stuff. It is a book for the user who already has thier feet wet in the New Media environment. What I liked about the book is that the author gave examples on software available on other platforms such as the Mac. A platform often overlooked by the Microsoft pimps of the world. This book has found it's way onto my bookshelf for semi-permanent storage at least until I find a better one. In summary, this book aint that bad of a deal for the retail price and it by far beats the hefty, jacked up price here at the IUPUI book store.
