Rating: 4 stars
Summary: ERP - myth, system and organization.
Review: ERP systems are complex and large Information Systems (IS) that tend to need a lot of resources to implement. As such, academics and professionals alike need to ask themselves - why do it?
In this book, several contemporary views are explored, among them mythmaking, ERP as an artifact, cultural aspects as well as potential differences in approaches for large, medium and small enterprises. The different chapters approach the object of interest both in and out of context, each adding different, complimentary perspectives.
I would recommend you to buy this book if you want to find a single resource about ERP that is up to date and that at the same time contain some of the most recent findings in the area.
