Review: This book is a peek into what will become Microsoft's major new web services intiative, .NET My Services. It contains a preliminary set of specs on the architecture of these XML-based web services, and a chapter or two on what .NET My Services is and how you might use it. The upcoming (spring 2002) "Introduction to .NET My Services" book from MS Press will contain a more in-depth introduction, including code samples and an updated "What is this and how will I use it" section.
