Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Ask the experts: A-to-Z for Today's Networks
Review: I found this book to be an excellent source for virtually any type of communications network question. It gave end-to-end information on every stage of network design, planning, latest technologies and protocols, management, bandwidth, security and VPNs, network migration, IBM data centers, WANs and LANS, remote access, wireless, etc.

I especially liked the way each article seems to be written by an expert in that field, who not only deals with the issues facing every IT manager and network administrator every day, but also in the newest technologies and trends. This book is very helpful in discussing the true concerns of today's corporate infrastructure, and offering real-world solutions. These can be applied to any kind of network the reader may have, or be planning.

I found the Handbook to be an encyclopedia for enterprise networks. It's how-to, FAQ style and opinion/editorial articles get down to the nitty-gritty. Two thumbs up!
