Review: I've made about 10 of the recipes out of this book, and each one came out perfectly. If you've only experienced dry-as-sawdust "scones" at trendy coffee shops, but this book and be pleasantly surprised at what scones are REALLY like. Some of the scones are beyond rich (like the Brownie Scones), but every batch I've tried so far from this book has turned out buttery, tender, and utterly irresistable. Try the Classic Cream Scones first and then go from there.

Review: One of the things I liked about the book was that there is a recipe for "Clotted Cream" which I haven't found in any of the other recipe books I have read. There is quite a variety of recipes for spreads in addition to scones for every occasion and taste! The book is well worth having in your collection!

Review: This is my favorite scone cookbook (I have several) and it is dog-eared, flour stained and remains to this day one of my most often used books. I bought the book not knowing how to make scones and found the directions easy, the ingredients readily available and every recipe has turned out delicious. From working with this book I have also learned the basics of scone cookery and have gone from a rank beginner to being able to create my own scone recipes easily. Buy it! You will not regret it.
