Summary: there is no magic here
Review: If you don't cook with a jar of this, a box of that, and a tube of bread, run away from this cookbook! There are no recipes for breads, rolls, pasteries-only concoctions which presume you buy semi-prepared bread-like products. I realize this is not presented as a healthy or low-fat cookbook, but all should know that none of the "recipes" are either healthy or low-fat (note: packaged bread products contain partially hydrogenated oils and other icky stuff). I received this book as a gift from someone who knows I enjoy baking, so I can only guess that the title was confusing to them-there is no "dough magic" here!

Summary: Great if you are in a hurry.
Review: This book is a great book to have on hand if you are a busy, active cook who needs to whip up dinner for a family in a hurry. I agree that the recipes are not "low-fat" but if you eat a regular diet, making one of these recipes once in a while will not kill you. If you read the cover it does not promise you that this is some type of gourmet baking book. The cover explains exactly what you will find in side!
