Rating: Summary: M*A*S*H* at it's best - recipes and all! Review: As a true die hard fan of MASH I can honetly say this "takes the cake!" After flipping from beginning to end I actually attempted Hunnicutt's wife's cookie recipe.Needless to say they were AWESOME, and my wife and my family enjoyed them until the last morsel. I'm now looking through the book for more wonderful morsels of goodness. Jocularity! Jocularity!

Rating: Summary: Delightful Review: Have always been a huge M*A*S*H fan and was delighted to find this droll and eccentric book at the bookstores just in time for Christmas gift giving. Thank you Private Igor for this entertaining 'walk down memory lane' with all my friends from the 4077!
Rating: Summary: A thoroughly enjoyable, many-layered treat! Review: Here's a book for anyone who was a fan of the M*A*S*H TV series and for anyone who likes to cook and eat! I skimmed through the book as soon as I received it, looking at the cast pictures and behind-the-scenes shots. Then I took a bit more time and read the collection of "Private Igor's" letters home from Korea, where he was serving (so to speak) with the 4077th. I found hilarious letters and insightful stories about the characters and situations that the television series brought to us so well. These tales worked on both levels -- as continuations of the story that the series told, and as little glimpses into the cast that played the members of the 4077th. And then I took a closer look at the recipes themselves and was pleasantly surprised. They come with jokey, cute names such as "Battle of Burgoo" or "Sgt. Bustyergutz Lasagna," but they are very real recipes. I have tried a couple and found them quite good. The rest (somewhere around 150 of them!) look like they are worth trying. Perhaps by this time you've gotten the impression that this is a positive review of the book -- you are right. M*A*S*H memorabilia, a funny read, and a collection of good recipes, all in one book. This is going on my Christmas list!
Rating: Summary: Fascinating behind the scenes stories AND a good cookbook! Review: I knew I wasn't the only one out there still watching M*A*S*H reruns!! What fun to find out new information about one of my favorite tv shows of all time. I loved the pictures and Igor's letters, and it was great to get some insight on Mr. Maxwell's circuitous journey to "stardom." Since it IS a cookbook, I should mention that the recipes I've tried (about seven so far) have all turned out great.
