Rating: Summary: Two very delightful characters Review: Jennifer and Clarissa are a hoot. If you get the chance watch the reruns of their cooking show on the FoodTV channel. The recipes are just plain old fashioned good. I would have given this 5 stars but there aren't enough pics to keep me happy.

Rating: Summary: The Adult Chocolate Cake recipe is KILLER! Review: Laughter is the exercise you'll get while reading this book. Heartattacks are what you'll get if you actually eat the food. The chocolate cake recipe is almost worth a heartattack!
Rating: Summary: We love Jennifer and Clarissa. Review: My husband, who is the chef in our family, and I never miss Jennifer and Clarissa on TV and the book is more of the same. Not since Julia Child have there been any cooks with more personality and joie de vivre. The cook and the gourmand in our family loved this book! (I want to be Jennifer when I grow up.)
Rating: Summary: Real Brits Cook Real Food Review: The name is what it is: 2 Fat Ladies who don't take anything too seriously, except food! ---> REAL Food, with actual calories and fat. These 2 old broads have been around the corner more than once, and they didn't go for take away and have collected dishes from all over. Vegans may want to run the other way. They have excellent taste in motorcyles as well. A real slice of humor and bad puns in good taste.
Rating: Summary: A True Masterpiece in Abstract Cooking Review: The Two Fat Ladies have compiled some of their best recipes to form this cookbook. Some of the dishes have odd names, but are usually good eating. Anyone looking for an interesting dish to try, will need to own this book. A true combination of wit and good food.
Rating: Summary: Very interesting book Review: This book is a very interesting book. It is however unlikely that I would make any of the recipes. I bought it just to look at. I loved the television show on the Food network. From what I remember that cook a lot of game.

Rating: Summary: A MUST for anti-vegetarians!! Review: This book is FUN to use ( though if you cook like this everyday the paramedics should be standing close by). Jennifer Patterson and Clarissa Dickson Wright comment on each receipe from the book, which gives their own unique twist on the food to be prepared and even some history of the dish itself. The strongest part of the book is the way its written. You can actually hear the fat ladies speak as they describe the receipe. The only constructive critism of the book is its not a "teaching" book--not much emphasis on culinary technique. Still a very nice addition to your collection--even if just for kicks.
