Summary: This is THE book on Hawaiian cooking!
Review: This book has been in print since 1970! And no wonder!! You should see my copy; dog eared and stained! I have Hawaiian Luaus every year and this book is my bible. I have 18 Hawaiian cookbooks but this is the one I use the most! It's simple to understand and use and is loaded with great recipies and ideas. It even gives you a lesson in how to speak Hawaiian!! The first chapter is for drinks-alchoholic and non-alchoholic. It covers all the standards and some great new drinks! Each chapter is broken up into appetizers, soups, salads, etc. There are some great ideas that seem like they'd be complicated (such as the Pineapple Hibachi) but when you read the recipie, you'll be amazed at how such a fantastic looking dish could be so easy and fun to do! If you have to pick ONE Hawaiian cookbook for your collection, make it this one. Hui hon kaua!

Summary: Hawaiian Cook Book Review
Review: This book was really easy to use and didn't have a lot ofterminology or technique's that we're too "foreign" for usregular people. I have made at least a half a dozen different recipies out of this book so far. They have all turned out pretty well and had a lot of flavor. I am not a master chef by any means so I recommend this book to the simple cook!
