Summary: A beautiful book full of delicious food
Review: Even though I own a few hundred cookbooks, I find myself in a rut sometimes, where I can't get inspired to cook anything. This book changed that. Thumbing through these beautiful pages makes me want to cook just about everything. Tonight we're having real good turkey burgers; later this week, I'll try the tuna with miso sauce. Thank you, Susie Quick, for providing the inspiration to get me back in the kitchen.

Summary: A beautiful book full of delicious food
Review: For someone who basically can boil water this book was an incredible find. I really know very little about food except what I like and do not like. As far as preparation is concerned it is either dining out or dialing "deliver".
But "Quick Simple Food" has made cooking much easier and much more pleasant to do. Also, the terrific photos have made cooking more appealing.

Summary: beautifully simple and delicious!
Review: I love this book! The recipes are great and elegant-not your usual quick-meal cookbook stuff. And the photos inside are beautiful. It's almost as much a coffee-table book as it is a great recipe book. I'm definitely giving this book to all my friends.

Summary: Delicious, delightful, and best of all EASY!
Review: I must confess I'm a culinary klutz, but this book has given me a LOT more confidence in the kitchen! These recipes are super easy to follow, and the results look elegant and taste delicious. So far my favorites are the farfalle with zucchini and lemon-cream sauce and the ziti with garlic-roasted cauliflower -- but that's only because I haven't tried them all yet!

This book is terrific for someone who wants to eat well but doesn't have a lot of time to waste fussing around in the kitchen. I didn't spend more than a half hour on any of these dishes, and it's so satisfying to finally be able to impress family and friends with my cooking! It's also beautifully illustrated, so it'd make great gift book as well.

Summary: Quick Simple Food. It's all that. And more.
Review: Susie Quicks' new take on many of my favourite recipes is a welcome addition to my vast collection of cook books. I love to cook but am often pressed for time with a family including three teenage children.

Our family has lived between Paris, Sydney, London and New York for the past twenty years and are very keen on ethnic yet sophisticated foods. Susies' recipes are just that without cutting corners that can lead to less than successful results. Once you've tried the Turkish Meatloaf you'll know what I'm talking about.

The photographs are magnificent and the look of the book is sleek and modern. I'm inspired to try any of the recipes by just looking at those images.

Susie Quick is the best thing to happen to good food since Donna Hay.

Two thumbs up!

Summary: True to the title
Review: The book will make you feel like a gourmet but without all the work. After years of meat and potatoes cooking this book was a real treat that opened up a whole new world for me. If you want an exciting change but just don't have the time or energy to play Julia Child then this is the cookbook for you. It was the answer to my prayers. The dishes really are impressive and belie their simplicity.

Some of the ingrediants are expensive and hard to find but it's worth the money and effort. There's more to cooking than Worschestershire sauce, ketchup and cream of mushroom soup.

Summary: Quick, Smart, Scrumptious, Savvy, Stylish, and Sensible Food
Review: This book is amazing. It makes it possible for regular people to make not just quick but quick, smart, scrumptious, stylish, sensible food with savoir-faire. She totally debunks all that cook like a chef stuff--and I don't want to cook like a chef. I'm not a chef. I want to make fabulous dinners without spending my entire evening or life on them. All these recipes are easy, but with big deep flavors and no convenince foods. She's simplified everything for us--and I really appreciate that. And she has such good ideas, such a fine palate.I will use this book until I've cooked everything in it--and by then, I hope there will be another book from her. Thank you Susie!

Summary: Streamlined Cooking
Review: This is a fantastic cookbook. I found that the selection of menus and the ease of preparing them to be very convenient and delicious. I also thought the photography was quite beautiful and made it easy to choose a meal by simply looking at the pictures. I will definitely keep this one very handy in my kitchen.
