Rating: Summary: Mom Share Your Life with Me Review: Answering these questions for my daughter brought back many long forgotten memories. I loved doing it and she loves reading it. She reads one page and day and has called me telling me how she has done the same thing I wrote about. Definitely complete one for your children, but also buy them one to fill out now. Many of the questions are about childhood and the futher you get from it, the more you forget. One complaint I have is it asks too many questions about nick names. On those pages, and others I didn't have an answer for, I would write about some story from my childhood I wanted to tell her about but there was no place for in the book.

Rating: Summary: Most precious thing ever Review: I actually bought this book MANY years ago. Took 3 years but my mom finally filled it out. This book is so precious to me. Once a year I take it out and read it. I just know if I ever have kids, they will love it as well. I searched online in hopes of finding ones similiar for other family members. I highly recommed this book to anyone. Ahltimerz runs big in my family, and I know there will be a day when I can no longer as my mom questions about her childhood. This book is great.

Rating: Summary: Tell your story Review: I am planning on giving these gifts to my hubby and myself, from our four year old son, for Christmas. In addition to documenting our history for him, I think it will be fun for us all to work on together, as well. I am looking forward to it!

Rating: Summary: Wonderful Memories Review: I recently gave this to my aunt who has cancer and is bedridden to give to her own daughter for her birthday ... needless to say she was overwhelmed with such a 'memorable' gift. It gave my aunt the opportunity to share some wonderful and special moments in her own life with her daughter and remember some great times. I have now bought 3 copies of this book for other family members including my own mother. My only complaint is that it is truly American driven with regards to holidays and rites of passage (ie. snipe hunts), but you can get around these things easily. I highly recommend this treasure for all.
Rating: Summary: too bad this book hasn't been around a few more generations! Review: I'm the daughter of a mother who had cancer for many years... Conscientious as she was, she wrote out the answers to the questions in this book for my sister and I, and on the night she died, we got these books as a surprise. The concept of having questions for one to centre one's response around is fantastic, even if all of the questions aren't necessarily the ones you might ask. Ultimately though, I'm extremely glad to have had this book, even as I'm sad that she's not around to give me even more details... Thanks to Kathleen Lashier
Rating: Summary: Continuity of family - beyond price Review: My own parents are long gone, and there is so much I would like to be able to ask them! My own children are now in the 50 year age, and are just beginning to ask questions of the past. What a wonderful vehicle this book is for a lasting record of a childhood that took place in the early 1930's, most of it beyond the comprehension of my grandchildren. There was such a time and place, and it should be recorded within the context of a family.
