Summary: Food that brings you home to mom!
Review: Even if I didn't like to cook, this book would tempt me to try some of Mr. Hadamuscin's recipes. They are written in a clear manner, and the photographs are outstanding. Mr. Hadamuscin's recipes are a tribute to food, family and home. I've made many of his treats, and I have never been disappointed. His recipes are presented in a format such as "An Old Salem Pumpkin Supper", or "A Comforting Supper", where the entire menu is presented. All the thinking is done for you! I have many of his books, and look forward to any future publications.

Summary: A treasure to savor the enjoyment of living in his prose!
Review: Like the other two Hadamuscin books that I own, this one is a treasure to read and look at. He makes a person feel enwrapped by the warmth of good times, whether in a large party, an intimate dinner or with the traditions of America and family.

It is his descriptions that I treasure and some of the recipes, though not all that I have tried work for me.

Splendid photographs as well.
