Gingerbread Book

Review: I have just recently fallen in love with the art of gingerbread houses. Of all the books I have found (so far, I have been referencing around 8), this one is the most comprehensive of all. I checked it out of the library and finally decided that, since it is no longer in print, I would: a) have to "lose" it and pay the library for it, b) buy it on eBay, or c) try to find it SOMEWHERE for myself. I found one on eBay but it went for over $45!!! I bought a slightly used one on Amazon and CANNOT wait to get it! I finally will have one of my own. Until the shipment comes in, however, I am keeping my library version (just in case!).

Summary: Excellent "how to" book
Review: If you have never made gingerbread before, this is the book for you. The recipes are easy and the step by step pictures walk you through the process of making anything from gingerbread cookies to a variety of gingerbread houses with various themes. I would highly recommend it.

Review: MY WIFE HAS CHECKED THIS BOOK OUT OF THE LIBRARY EVERY MONTH FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS. I JUST WANT TO BUY A COPY FOR HER TO SAVE SHOE LEATHER.

Review: Though the book has wonderful pictures, many of the measurements in the drawings are wrong.
