Review: I bought this book some years ago in the UK. It is an admirable introduction to south and central American cooking, and is an encouragement to explore further. Her range is wide, but not recherche: the reader will look in vain for a recipe for Bolivia's charque kan. The pictures alone are an encouragement, not only to cook south American, but to go there and see for yourself.
