Review: I was given this book 10 years ago and have since since tried many recipes in this book, all of my potluck favorites that get rave reviews come from this book. It has old fashioned easy recipes, special kids sections, hard to find simple recipes like gingerbread houses and easter egg dye. I have used my book so much I am having to buy a second less abused copy.

Review: This book is easy to use and full of "comfort food" recipes. I was delighted to see things like old fashioned Easter egg dye recipes and charming ways of serving foods and snacks (especially the ideas for children's treats). It's definitely a book worth having in your collection.
