Summary: Great 'workbook' for tasty cooking!
Review: Cooking is usually considered a chore...this book crushes that stereotype.

Created by Food & Wine magazine you get a book that not only tells you the basics of creating a meal (they make it seem so simple and it is!) and also tell you secret tips and tricks to use in the kitchen!

The layout is perfect as well. A beautiful picture of the completed dish is on the left hand page and the directions/ingredients are on the right (as well as a wine recommendation for each dish!).

From Pastas to leftovers it is all covered! There are many cooking books out there but Food & Wine magazine has really made a winner here.

Even if you are not the best cook in the world, this will get you on the right track and everyone will think you are a gourmet chef! Just hide the book when company comes over!

Summary: great quick meals
Review: Every recipe from this book that I've tried so far has been easy, quick and ranged from very tasty to great. And they seldom need alterations.
The gumbo recipe, for example has won the rave reviews of the 'lord of the manor' who tasted it shortly after a trip to New Orleans and pronounced this better than the four he had tried there; quite an accomplishment!
I have recommended this book to friends who love good food as much as I but are far less interested in spending time in the kitchen.

Summary: The Best and Most Consistent Cookbook I Use
Review: I have been incredibly pleased with _One Dish Meals_. The recipes are quick, easy and extremely tasty. Even meals which feature combinations which sound unusual have resulted in rave reviews. The wine suggestions are also fun for those newly interested in wine.

I am buying copies of this book for my friends and family. This is the first cookbook which has seemed wonderful enough to do so!
