Review: This wonderfully diverse cookbook has something for everyone - there are separate sections on soups and stews, with subcategories to keep any cook busy: veal, lamb, pork, chicken/duck, fish, and lots of excellent vegetarian recipes (the latter are my personal favorites). This book is for cooks who like to serve a hearty soup or stew for a main course dinner, accompanied by salad and bread. Many recipes are accompanied by suggestions for an appropriate wine.
