Review: I've used this book for years and absolutely love it. Don't let the title fool you - this isn't about kids' desserts. Many of the recipes are truly elegant and sophisticated, even if they are "gooey". Friends insist that I make the Italian Cream Cake in this book again and again. Try it - you won't be disappointed!

Summary: My favorite cookbook!
Review: Where would I be without Elaine's recipe for homemade chocolate pudding? The horror! I can't imagine life without it (and who knew it was so darn easy?). Or the recipe for Caramel Chocolate brownies, oh my! I haven't made plain old brownies since. Although it seems this book is now out of print, it is well worth tracking down a used copy.
