Summary: I've become a muffin-lady myself!
Review: I bought this book a couple of years ago and have LOVED it! I have made many muffins from this book - some over and over again. I've yet to make one that hasn't appealed to our friends and family. I've made a batch for every friend who was in the hospital after having a baby and also for many potlucks - all have been praised and most people have wanted the recipes. Our favourite is the Banana-Pineapple-Chocolate muffins - yummy!
She has broken down her book into several sections: intro, 10 steps to perfect muffins, muffin baking techniques, general muffin tips, muffin troubleshooting, classic muffins, refrigerator muffins, wholesome healthy muffins, low-fat muffins, fruit muffins, vegetable muffins, holiday muffins and a comprehensive index.

Excellent muffin cookbook- you can't go wrong!

Summary: These really are the 250 best muffin recipes!
Review: I have always loved muffins but had never been much of a baker. One day while browsing through my local bookstore I spotted exactly what I needed to get me to start baking, a muffin cookbook! I went out to get the few ingredients I needed and started baking. I could not believe how easy it was. From that day foreword I became an avid muffin maker. This book is not only easy but has great recipes. Even my kids have started making them with me since their is a speical kid's section in the book. The variety of choices makes them want to cook as well as me. I congratulate Ms. Brody on an excellent book!

Summary: 250 random muffin recipes
Review: This book is a real disappointment. Some of the recipes are decent, most are so-so, and some sound quite disgusting (e.g. cheesy tuna muffins). And Brody makes no attempt to standardize the recipes. Some use as little as 1 cup of flour, some use as much as 5 cups, and every recipe makes a different quantity. What a lazy, sloppy excuse for a cookbook.
