Rating: Summary: Good Mexican cookbook from a trusted Chinese publisher Review: Hey, I have this book! I bought this book about a year ago because I purchased 2 other cookbooks from this publisher, Wei-Chuan, and I really like the way the cookbooks are presented. My friends always laugh at me when I tell them about this book ... but this is a good - How to cook Mexican cuisine - from a Chinese publisher! The instructions are fairly good and the steps are simple ... like a lab experiment, but tastier! I've tried the delicious rice, and chicken enchiladas recipes and they're great. Of course, you can also improvise by taking spices from one recipe and using it with another recipe. Half of my problem is that I don't know what ingredients to use and this book really helps.I encourage you to try this book and other books from the publisher Wei-Chuan.
Rating: Summary: Suprisingly good! Review: This is a handy cookbook. It's relatively short, but packed with good recipes and nice color pictures. In many cases, it has seperate recipes for the sauces, preparing the meats, and then putting it together. I thought it would be labor intensive, but instead I've found it inspiring me to try out new combinations.
