Summary: Recipes just didn't work !
Review: I am a seasoned cook and have worked with several Indian cookbooks and I tried a couple of recipes in this book. They didn't work for me. The Okra stir-fry was terribly overspiced- I had to throw it out and the Yogurt soup was just ok.
Others who have reviewed the book on this site seemed to like it but I don't know......They didn't seem much quicker than other Indian recipes. Once you get the hang of it, they never take too long.

Summary: Simply Delicious
Review: This is quite simply an excellent cookbook. Given I have had hardly any experience with Indian cooking I found this book both informative and simple to follow. There are plenty of choices (in fact the only difficulty is deciding which recipe to choose!), and the dishes are delicious and healthy. Highly recommended.

Summary: This book is great
Review: This is the greatest indian vegetarian book. The recipes are easy to follow, they are quick and the result is excellent. The writer makes everything so exciting and her love for cooking is sent to the reader with her text. This is the perfect present for anyone interested in indian cooking- vegetarian or non-veg as the recipes can be adapted for meat eaters and taste so great, can be eaten as they are. My favorite book!
