Review: This cookie cook book has a wide variety of cookie & bar flavors, textures & complexity of recipe. The recipies are clear & concise. This is now the only cook book I grab to look for a new recipe to try, or to find a recipe with specific ingredient restrictions. There are basic cookie making tips, as well as suggestions of cookies for specific events (e.g. to mail in care packages, for hostest gifts, etc). A wonderful book.

Summary: If I only had one cookie cookbook, this would be it!
Review: Whenever I'm looking for a cookie recipe, this cookbook is where I start and eventually end! Whether I'm in the mood for bar, drop, or extra special cookies, the sections are set up so I can always find a choice of recipes. I've had this book for years and haven't found a "bad" recipe yet. It's what I give to people for their first cookie cookbook, because the recipes are easy to understand and there's multiple choices, for instance, of kinds of brownies, or oatmeal cookies, or sugar cookies. Storage and shipping tips are included, but good luck keeping the cookies around long enough to do this!
