Review: This is a wonderful cookbook, full of recipes for food that people actually enjoy eating. Nothing in here is super-fancy, no aioli or sun-dried tomatoes, no sushi. But the recipes are one step above ordinary, and they will make your guests and family very happy. Good groceries prepared by a woman who knows food...sophisticated comfort food. The author writes a food column and teaches, in addition to catering. Green tomato casserole, Tennessee spoon bread, creole oysters on kaiser rolls---are you hungry yet? I wish she had more than one cookbook to add to my collection.
