Summary: Not a very useful cookbook for me...
Review: I was given this book by a friend, so I probably wouldn't have been drawn to it in the first place. I enjoy cooking and trying new ideas, and I think I am quite adventurous but there is just not very much in this book to interest me.

I went through and marked all the recipes I would consider making, and I only found four out of the whole book. The one that I made, a Beef and Carrots Stew that you cook in a low-temperature oven for 6 hours, did come out pretty well, but I think you can get a similar recipe in most basic cookbooks.

A lot of the recipes use ingredients that you just don't have to hand, or are things that my family would not enjoy, like rabbit, beets, fresh coconut, a bunch of fresh chervil (not all in the same recipe, haha!)

It just isn't very useful for me personally, doesn't "fill a need", and uses some impractical ingredients.
