Review: Every recipe I've tried from this book has made it into my arsenal of keepers--each is a crowd-pleaser that can't go wrong. Plus, you don't just get great recipes: on many pages of "Desserts" are neat little sidebars offering bonus-helpful nuggets of information that make preparing the recipe more fun and make me feel like an expert (thank you, Abby, for making me look so good!). I've come to trust Abigail Johnson Dodge's recipes so thoroughly that for an important dinner party, I assure you, a test-run wouldn't be needed. This book is a gem!
