Summary: Good Start
Review: I really like this cookbook as a good start for beginners. It gives simple recipes for basic Korean dishes - even those that Korean moms usually say there is no recipe for..."you just put in a little bit of this and that." The pictures are very helpful and it provides an English equivalent for the Korean ingredients so you know what to shop for. I've referred to it several times and have always been happy with the outcome.

Summary: Easy to follow cook book for Koreans and Non-Koreans
Review: This book has step by step pictures and the instructions are easy to follow. The best thing about this books is that the recipes are traditional. The spiral format printed on heavy paper also makes it great for wear and tear.

Summary: Lee Wade's Korean Cookery
Review: This is a good cook book for Non-Koreans or Koreans who would like to learn to cook Korean dishes. I found the receipes a bit on the weak side but was able to adjust easily with a pinch of this or a pinch of that. I recommend people do the same and experiment with it. The ingredients are easy to find because the author replaces a lot of the hard to find items with easier substitutes. I really like how the authors continued Mrs. Lee Wade's efforts to finish this cookbook.
