Review: I am a Springfield, Illinois native and can tell you that these recipes are well known in the Springfield area. The recipes in this book are very very good.Some of my favorites include.....Lemon Shake-Ups as seen at the Illinois State Fair, Steak Diane as served at Baur's On the Green, Funnel Cakes And the all time Springfield favorite... HORSESHOES... if you don't know what this is I urge you to buy the book for that recipe alone! You will love it!
