Summary: Almost the only cookbook you'd ever need!
Review: I had to laugh when one reviewer mentioned that her copy of this cookbook was "worn to a frazzle"! That describes mine to a "T"! I have a paperback version and each page is now loose and just tucked in there...sometimes out of order, but in there nonetheless. It's the cookbook I reach for when I want an authentic and excellent recipe for all those wonderful ethnic dishes. Almost every recipe you can think of is in there whether you're Scandinavian, German, Cuban, Jewish or many, many others. Potato Dumplings to Psari Plake (Greek fish dish), Tourtiere (French Canadian meat pie) to Plum Pudding. Someday I'll have to buy the hardcover edition...and start messing up all those favorite pages with flour, etc. all over again!
