Summary: WONDERFUL! A gorgeous book and unbelievable bargain!
Review: WOW! Although I normally wouldn't dream of reviewing a cookbook before trying any recipes, this one is an exception. It is a beautiful hardcover book filled with gorgeous full-color photos, yet costs only... Although I have not yet tried the recipes, the book is studded with post-it notes signifying those I'm eager to try. Both photos and descriptions make them verrrrrry tempting.

I do have questions about the safety factors concerning one recipe I'm eager to try (I think it called for pickling something in the oven rather than on top of the stove, and believe that there have been questions about the health of that), but the recipe should work fine with standard pickling techniques for anyone as paranoid as I am.

This is a gorgeous book, and would make wonderful beautifuly cheap gifts.
