Summary: First-rate cookbook totally mistitled!
Review: If I were told that tomorrow I must move and I may only take six cookbooks with me, this would be one of the six! Wonderful rich flavor combinations, and interesting lists of ingredients contribute to making this one of the most original cookbooks that I have come across (and used) in years. With consideration for the many and differed roots of the original settlers of the Northwest, Judie Geise has assembled a rich tapestry of recipes that may truly start in the Northwestern USA, but are at home on the tables of all Americans. My favorites include Bayou Bisque, Shrimp Gumbo, Judie's Mediterranean Style Stew, and Chicken Hunter Style. Her Eggplant Parmesan has no rival! These and more from her book have been adopted as family basics and passed on to friends and neighbors. A really great cookbook!
