Rating: Summary: One Cookbook I Wouldn't Trade Review: I collect cookbooks, and this is one of my top five. The authors are not overstating their case! I've never had a failure with one of their meticulously accurate recipes. This is really basic, stick-to-your-ribs meal preparation with a lot of humor thrown in. These recipes don't contain a million exotic ingredients and an afternoon's worth of time and trouble. Their quiche, corn souffle, and chicken and dumplings have drawn more compliments than many other expensive and time-consuming things I've made. This would make a wonderful gift (mine was!)
