Rating: Summary: Definitely easy-- and good, too! Review: I've lost *50* pounds on the Weight Watchers 123 plan in the past six months. I've run through the gamut of the usual diet dishes, and was getting pretty bored, so picked this up at a meeting. I enjoyed the variety of dishes, and while I haven't cooked a lot of the recipies yet, the ones I have tried are good.I like the range of the lunch ideas especially, because I was getting pretty tired of frozen entrees and canned soup! Another nice thing is the paper is sturdy and glossy, not like regular magazine paper. If I spill on it, I can wipe it off without destrying the page. It's packed with pictures-- something I really like. Also, the recipies are easy to throw together with what you have in your pantry.
Rating: Summary: Simple Goodness- More Than 100 Quick & Easy Recipes Review: This book is loaded with simple, delicious recipes and menu ideas for the 1-2-3 Success Weight Watchers program. My family (kids included) has enjoyed all the recipes I have tried and they don't even realize they are eating "diet" food. Try the Garlicky Baked Shrimp--it's WONDERFUL.
Rating: Summary: finally food that I can relate to! Review: What I really like about this book is the simplicity and the "all-American" style of the food. I am not enticed by gourmet food-I just love good eating! The sweet onion smothered hamburgers, herbed garlic bread, raspberry coffee ring, Denver omelets, and four cheese stuffed shells are out of this world and make you wonder if you're really on a diet. There are even recipes for macaroni and cheese, pot roast and pound cake! I am thrilled to attest to the fact that I've lost weight eating these foods. Weight Watchers really got it right with this one.
